ServiceNow Software Engineer

Job description

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions based on defined requirements and technical guidelines
• Configure ServiceNow using out-of-the-box functionality and custom development where required
• Develop custom applications, features, and extensions on client and server side
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow portals, including front-end (HTML, CSS, AngularJS) and back-end components, widgets, workflows, and flows
• Develop API integrations with external systems
• Ensure compliance with implementation standards and technical best practices
• Maintain, optimize, and enhance existing ServiceNow implementations
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Support testing activities, rollouts, and hyper-care phases
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a specialization in software development or a comparable qualification
• 3–5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities
• Solid JavaScript skills (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Glide API)
• Experience with Flow Designer and API web service integrations
• Experience with ServiceNow portals and UI development

Tech skills

• Good problem-solving skills
• Independent and reliable way of working with good understanding of business processes
• Practical experience with agile development methods
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment
• Very good English
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High personal and professional integrity and strong work ethics
